Michelle Waters, creator of the website, is a mother to three wonderful boys, two of who are Autistic. She found trying to find suitable toys for play and therapy was difficult and time consuming, as well as expensive.
So, after much research and consultation with some wonderful therapists and teachers, Special Needs Toys Australia was created. Its aim is to create a place where parents, friends, teachers and therapists of children with special needs can easily shop for toys and products that help children develop to the best of their abilities.
