Ever noticed how annoying it can be when you have just changed a disgusting dirty nappy, and you are trying to separate the nappy disposal bags to put the old nappy in and chuck out, but you just can’t seem to get a grip on the bag to separate the top parts of it? The last thing you want to do after dealing with a gross nappy is lick your fingers to separate the thin plastic sheets. So maybe you do what I usually do – go wash your hands first, and then come back and deal with it. Simple idea, so not sure why I never thought of it with my firstborn, but just use the moist baby wipes to dampen your fingers and easily open up the nappy bag. Saves you the time of running to wash your hands, and saves the spread of germs too. It’s amazing how the smallest things can actually make a difference sometimes, but that used to drive me crazy until a light bulb went on in my head. Probably most people will already have thought of this, but there may just be someone like me who it never occurred to! :-)
