When you buy tupperware and storage containers, try to buy items that have the lid attached – either that or buy in sets so that if you lose one lid there are plenty of others that fit. I’m constantly losing things that come in pieces. So my rule now is – either buy things that cannot be separated – or join them back together at the time of cleaning and putting away (my husband gets in so much trouble when bottles, food containers etc are put away in parts!). It drives me crazy when I’m trying to race out the door, but can’t find the lid of a drink bottle or something…
