I finally decided to get a cleaner to come once a fortnight just to do the floors and bathroom! So excited! Today, in anticipation of her arrival, I went looking for a spare house key to give her. Found one that looked like a front door key, so went outside to try it out. As soon as the front door closed I had this sinking feeling of “what if this isn’t the right key?”. And lo and behold, it wasn’t the right key and I’d just locked myself out of the house! Luckily my kids were at daycare or I would have been in big trouble! Had to call hubby (who was less then impressed) from the next door neighbours house to come and let me back in! Meantime, the cleaner turned up and the two of us were stuck sitting out the front, and there’s me trying to make conversation. Very awkward! And this whole cleaner thing was supposed to make my life easier!! Argh. Typical…
