When serving your toddler a plate of dinner or lunch, try putting only the veggies on their plate without them seeing the meat (or other food) you are going to also eat. I tried this the other night with broccoli for my 2 year old son. He wasnt able to be picky on his plate because thats all that was offered. He ate it with delight. I then allowed him to have the meat.

This works for me too. I usually give my boys a plate of cucumber or carrots to chew on while I make the rest of the dinner. I’m ALWAYS running behind schedule so need something to give them whilst I do the rest of it. If they are hungry and that’s all there is, they’ll have a shot at it.
